Research Assistant
The video interview was on Skype. They asked if I met the GRE and TOEFL requirements. Then they confirmed my skills and ability to do a PhD. I had originally applied for a Master's, but since I already had a degree, they referred me to do a PhD. Eventually, I successfully completed my degree.
- What is your background in water resources engineering?
Research Assistant
You will have a one-on-one meeting with the supervisor. They will ask about your qualifications and previous skills gained from university or jobs. Based on current opportunities, they will ask if you are interested in that area or open to other roles.
- Are you open to new opportunities within your field of interest?
Research Assistant
I applied online and then after about two weeks, I was invited for an in-person interview. The interview panel had two people. They asked technical and some behavioral questions about the workplace.
- Regarding your strengths and weaknesses, what are they, and how would they impact the workplace if you were hired?
