It was like a typical MBA campus placement process, nothing too crazy. We had a Group Discussion, followed by an interview with the Managing Director and the Head of HR. They misled us about the compensation package, not disclosing many hidden benefits that would only be paid after two years. They literally trapped a few college graduates with a four-year bond by lying about the salary.

The interview experience took place in Bangalore at KJ College of Management. Initially, there was a presentation giving detailed company information, followed by a job description and salary package discussion. The process included a group discussion, and then a personal interview for those selected from the GD. Afterwards, results were announced, and selected candidates were required to sign a 4-year bond that same evening.

So, the interview had a panel of 3 higher authorities from the bank. We started with introductions on both sides. Then they asked me about my internship at SAIL. After that, they hit me with some HR questions and then some technical questions, plus some current affairs questions. Finally, they asked me why I traveled so far for higher studies. To wrap things up, they invited me to ask any questions I had. I asked about the location, career growth, and why an MBA graduate has to go through a 2-year probation period. The interview concluded with a firm handshake.
