The interview process was longer than usual and very structured. The initial call felt very canned, and they didn't provide much detail about the company or the role. They didn't try to sell the role to me, they just wanted to move me through the process or reject me on the discovery call.

The application process for the Enterprise Account Executive role at Sourcegraph was excellent from beginning to end. I interacted with about 10 individuals throughout the process, and each interaction was positive. My recruiter, Marija, was exceptionally organized, informed, and professional, providing ongoing support and feedback. The interview stages included a resume review, a technical discussion or cross-team collaboration session with two CEs, a values-based interview with two team members, and a sales presentation to the VP of Sales, my hiring manager, and another AE. The interviews were fair and accurately assessed the skills needed for the role. All interviews were punctual and engaging, and I appreciated the genuine interest shown in me as a person, not just a candidate. The high caliber of intelligent and experienced professionals at Sourcegraph was very impressive.

I had a great experience interviewing at Sourcegraph. The process was seamless and the team were always there to answer any questions I had throughout. The interview process consisted of seven stages from initial screening all the way through to job offer. What I really enjoyed about this process was that each stage allowed me to understand what the role consists of and equally, buy into Sourcegraph's vision, company culture and team dynamic. All of which were amazing. It was also a great time for the team to understand if I'd be a good fit within this environment. This was achieved by running through various presentations on my background and interests, hobbies outside of work, key deals that I've managed and Won, territory planning, how I work in a team and how I collaborate with customer engineering throughout a sales cycle. These stages were challenging, yet fun. The final interview was with the VP of Sales. This was a great opportunity to understand Sourcegraph's sales strategy, the current opportunity within this market and also, how we can really make a difference to the world with a vision to give everyone a chance to code. This was then followed by a Values interview and Q&A.
