Research Associate
The interview process has 7 steps. After you complete the application, there's a phone screen, followed by an in-person interview. Then there's a skills test. After that, we do a final review and give feedback. If everything looks good, we offer the position. It's important to have a good job description before you even post the job or accept applications. This way, applicants know what the role is really about. You should include what they'll be doing day-to-day, what software they'll use, and what responsibilities they'll have. A good description saves everyone time by filtering out people who aren't a good fit. Remember, the goal is to get good people to apply, so write it well.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What makes you want to work here?
- What can you tell me about your education?
Scientist
The interview process was pretty smooth and consisted on a first phone screening with the Hiring Manager(~30min) with general questions about scientific background, and interests about the company; then, on-site interview with Hiring Manager and team members (30 minutes/slot, almost 3 hours in total, including PP presentation about technical skills and scientific experience/achievements); the third round was meeting the CEO.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this company?
- Can you discuss your background in science?
- What specifically about our company interests you?
QA Specialist
The interview process started with a chat with the Senior Director of Quality and a QA Tech Manager, followed by a meeting with the CEO. The first interview was fun and interactive, making me feel comfortable and like I was just chatting with a friend. They outlined the job duties. The second interview with the CEO was quick, given his busy schedule. We touched on my past experience and then had a relaxed chat about Vietnamese coffee and kids. It was a unique and positive experience.
- What do you enjoy most about QA?
Scientist
A phone call interview where the interviewer and employer were introduced. We discussed the company culture and the main goals of the role, and my personality fit for the job. It seems there isn't a formal HR stage, as hiring is managed directly by Directors or associate Directors.
- Can you explain the construct of CART and its applications?
