The interview process was online and consisted of 3 rounds. It started with an Online Assessment (OA). After passing the OA, I proceeded to a Technical Interview, followed by a Managerial + Technical interview. Unfortunately, I was rejected after the Technical Interview. The Technical Interview involved a DSA question on their Codility platform and a system design question.

It had 3 rounds. The process was pretty good overall. First, there was a Manager Round, which was basic. Then, Technical Round 1, also basic, focusing on DevOps, with two team members interviewing. After that, Technical Round 2 with the Architect. Finally, a Salary Discussion happened.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had a bad experience interviewing at Sophos. I was first told there'd be an HR call and then a hiring manager discussion, which went well. After that, I was expecting a one-on-one focusing on my past experience. But surprisingly, when I logged in, there were three interviewers from different departments. They all asked random questions, and then out of nowhere, it turned into a live coding test. It was confusing and felt really disorganized. They said I'd hear back in a few days, but I had to chase them with 7-8 emails to finally get a rejection saying 'other candidates were better.' No real feedback was given. It was super disappointing and unprofessional, with zero transparency and terrible communication. I felt my time wasn't valued.
