The interview journey kicked off with an initial screening, and I was genuinely impressed by how supportive and responsive the company was. The interviewer was super helpful, answering all my questions and easing any worries I had. Communication was smooth throughout, making me feel really valued. A cool part was getting an assignment, which surprisingly turned out to be really fun and engaging, letting me show off my skills. After that, I had a remote interview to present my work, which was a great chance to really demonstrate my expertise. Then, I chatted with HR, who helped me get sorted with the relocation to Switzerland, making the whole transition smooth for this awesome opportunity. Basically, the interview with SOPHiA wasn't just about seeing if I fit, but also about providing support and making me feel like I was joining a team that genuinely cared about my success.

I applied through the company's job portal and got through interviews. Started with an OA with medium questions on Github and SQL. Then had an HR discussion which was informative. Next, a system design round where I had to solve a problem related to the company's operations. This involved choosing databases (with pros/cons), cloud components, and data streaming/processing frameworks. Really enjoyed this round due to the interviewer. After passing that, I had a final interview with the team manager. This involved more deep system design talk. Overall, the experience was very positive. Angie Agarwal from HR was super helpful throughout the process and made it smooth. The questions were tough but relevant, and the interviewers were skilled and diligent. It was a rewarding experience.

I applied two years ago and heard nothing back. This year, after chatting with a friend who works there, I got a referral. Still no response for a month, so I reapplied myself and got a call scheduled within a week. The HR call felt a bit low on salary for a remote role, and they weren't super clear on the package details. The vibe was good, but then I waited 6 weeks with no reply. The next step is a 3-hour interview with a self-presentation, tech talk, and Q&A with multiple people.
