It was a 2-round contract-to-hire interview process. The first round was virtual and lasted about 30 minutes, and I felt it went well. The second round was in-person and lasted an hour. After the interview, I haven't received any updates, even after reaching out via email for over 3 weeks. I'm unsure what went wrong.

I applied for a Senior Software QA Engineer role at Sony Bangalore in April 2023, facilitated by SpanIdea Systems. The interview experience was quite negative. Initially, there was a round with Spanidea, followed by a final client round on April 13th with no set time limit. The interview, which started late, ran for an hour. I managed to answer all the theoretical questions and coding tasks presented. However, I never received any follow-up. I had to leave after an hour due to another commitment, as the interview duration wasn't specified. When I inquired about feedback, the HR mentioned they might not be proceeding with my application because I'm apparently interviewing elsewhere. The professionalism displayed by both companies was questionable.
