The interview started with a 1-hour online aptitude test. It had 3 sections: aptitude, English, and technical, with 20 questions each to be solved in 20 minutes. It required quick thinking. The technical part covered C, C++, databases, and data structures. To do well, study MCQs from a good book. Then there was a technical interview covering data structures, DAA, C, C++, software engineering, and databases. After that, a personal interview with usual questions like 'tell me something about yourself.' Study your resume well as they asked 4-5 questions based on it. You need detailed knowledge of your projects. They might also ask puzzles, so you need presence of mind. Finally, a managerial round where you are given a situation and have to show how you would act. I was asked to sell an office stapler.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by an agent about a position at Sony and then an onsite interview was scheduled for the next day. I met with the Program Manager first, who was professional and asked about my past work, listening well. Then, some engineers came in and started asking me questions without listening to my answers and even started making fun of my company and product. It was a very unprofessional team.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you estimate the number of lines of code you've written over the past four years?
