I had 4 interviews for this Software QA Analyst role. The first was with the QA Manager and a QA team member, where they asked about 5-6 critical thinking questions, focusing on recognizing common interview questions. The second was a standard chat with the HR Manager. The third interview included more generic questions, some repeats from the first. The fourth interview was more about my personal interests. Honestly, none of the questions really focused on the actual job. It felt like too many interviews for a company that isn't Google, and a waste of time. I didn't get an offer, and just received a generic email saying my skills didn't match, which is frustrating given the number of interviews. It seemed unprofessional. The company itself seems decent with a good product, but management appears to be the issue, especially the QA Manager who seems very possessive of the team she built.

The interview had two rounds. The first was a technical interview, and the second was with team members. They asked a lot about software testing and how I'd handle different situations. They also asked about how I manage my workload and push back when I have too much.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews and then got ghosted. The whole process felt unprofessional and disorganized. I tried following up with the recruiter, but they didn't even respond with any feedback.
