The interview was really pleasant. They asked me questions in a way that I could almost only answer them positively. So they helped me present myself in the best light. The atmosphere was also very nice and totally relaxed.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring manager reached out and we had a positive phone call, leading to an in-person interview with the team. The interview day ran from around 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM. I initially spoke with HR, mentioning I had another offer but was keen on AB due to their growth and upcoming Valencia location. Following that, I met with team members individually for 30-40 minutes each. I was given a tour and asked technical questions about pressure, temperature, process validation, and product validation. Lunch involved more questions from them. The manager then took me to the Valencia site, highlighting the expansion and his management style. Later that evening, around 6:30-7 PM, the manager called with a verbal offer, pending salary discussion. He asked me to email my salary expectations, considering my other offer, which I found unusual. I requested a written offer, but he was evasive. After I sent the email with my expectations, HR informed me two days later they weren't interested, which felt like they thought I was too expensive. A friend had a similar strange experience there. It seems like either HR or the manager was being shady. A terrible experience.

First interview was remote with HR and the hiring manager. Then, an in-person business case presentation at the company. Finally, there were interviews with Line/HR/Department Managers. All this happened within a week of getting feedback on my application.
