First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sono Bello.
Patient Care Coordinator
This was probably my least favorite interview process. I went through 4 rounds of interviews, and it felt like everyone was asking the exact same questions, like there was no communication between departments. I drove out and spent a whole day at the location. They offered me a ‘final interview’ but then said they scheduled it by mistake. After that, I was told they were passing me up for someone I never even spoke to, and this was after almost two weeks of silence. I sent professional follow-up emails asking for feedback or if I might be a fit for other locations, but got no response. Unless you have a lot of free time and gas money to burn, I wouldn’t recommend applying. A personal rejection email from someone I actually interviewed with would have been nice.

Patient Care Coordinator
I recently interviewed with Sono Bello. The recruiter was nice, but there were some red flags. When I asked about work-life balance, company culture, and pay, the recruiter was hesitant. For work-life balance, they said, "if you're making quota, you should be fine." Regarding salary, they couldn't confirm if it was salaried or hourly, just to divide $60,000 by 52 weeks and "add overtime." The evasiveness about basic company info was a big red flag. I was supposed to have a third interview with the VP, but it never happened, and I didn't get any follow-up or feedback. This seems to be a pattern of poor communication and lack of transparency, which is disappointing. A simple notification that they moved on would have been more professional.

Sales Representative
I had an initial phone screening with a recruiter where they gave me a rundown of the position, and I shared some of my background. I come from sales in a similar industry and wasn’t actively seeking out a new job, but I’ve been following this company for a long time so I decided to apply anyway. The initial phone call went really well. The recruiter expressed excitement about me and my background and said I should expect to hear from a VP by Tuesday. However, I never heard back. Not only that, but I received zero response from the two follow-up emails I sent. That is so unprofessional. I'm in management and if I interview someone, I always send a response email letting candidates know whether or not we’re moving forward. It’s unprofessional and in bad taste to leave people hanging.

Patient Ambassador
The interview process began with a Zoom call, which was audio-only because my webcam wasn't working, but the interviewer also didn't use hers. This first chat lasted about 20-30 minutes and felt like a friendly conversation. After that, I was invited to talk with upper management. For this second interview, my webcam worked, and his did too. There was a brief audio issue on my end at the start, but we quickly fixed it. This interview also took about 20-30 minutes and was another great conversation. He was really enthusiastic about Sono Bello, and I was excited to join. It was like two enthusiastic people sharing their excitement about the company from different viewpoints. In between these interviews, I had to take a typing test to prove I could type at least 40 wpm, and I had to do a speed test and screenshot the results. I also had to do a task involving resizing and organizing multiple windows on my screen, which was easy. After the second interview, they offered me the job, pending a background check. About a week later, I got an email officially welcoming me to the team with some paperwork to sign and return. It all felt like a pretty standard interview process.
