I applied directly and then went through a few interviews with HR and the Hiring Manager. One of those interviews was weird because I had to do it after work hours. They said they'd let me know the decision within a week after the last interview, but I never heard back at all, no feedback, nothing.

I applied online, but heard nothing for over a month. I reached out to recruiters, as their profiles said to. It took two weeks for one to respond and say another recruiter was handling it. I was asked to provide availability, and finally the responsible recruiter called me. It was a quick 10-minute call where they said the hiring manager would call after the weekend. I was told to call the recruiter back if I didn't hear anything. Tuesday passed with no contact. Calls and emails to the recruiter went unanswered. The hiring manager finally emailed to say the position was filled. The recruiter never even informed me. This whole process took 2 months of me trying to connect. It would have been better to just say no upfront, rather than showing interest and then being told it's filled days later. It doesn't reflect well on their hiring process or communication.

I met with Vivek for a casual chat near Cal-Train. He seemed to think that because I'd worked at a big company, I wasn't a fast worker. Sonder ghosted me after that, but they've reached out twice since then over 5 months. Each time I bring up the prior contact, I get ghosted again.
