The hiring manager of the specific store you're applying to will first email you an invitation for an online assessment. Once you complete the assessment, your score goes into a company-wide database accessible to management across all brands. If you pass the online test, you'll proceed to an interview with the store manager, typically lasting 30-45 minutes. They're usually looking for high energy and enthusiasm, so highlight your passion for customers, as Soma is known for its customer service. If you're applying for a Sales Associate role, you might have an additional interview with the assistant manager. For a Sales Lead or ASM position, your next interview will be with the DSM. If the DSM isn't available, another store manager might conduct a brief initial interview. DSMs tend to keep interviews brief. After the interviews, expect a call within one to two weeks from the store manager with a job offer, including pay details. If you accept, you'll then go to the store to complete paperwork and begin training.
