Got referred to the company. First, the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition did a phone screen. Then, I had two more rounds with Senior Engineers and the Director of Engineering. They checked out my problem solving and programming skills, and also asked some AI stuff.

The interview process at Solera was great. It began with an intro call with a recruiter who was awesome and provided great communication throughout the whole process. Next, there was an interview with another engineer on the team which consisted of more technical questions, unlike the painful whiteboard/leetcode style interview. This was followed by another technical conversation with another engineer on the team. It ended with a cultural/behavioral style interview with my future manager.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Questions focused mainly on React since the role was more Front-end focused.

I talked to some people on the phone and then had a sit-down interview. The whole process was pretty straightforward and everyone was nice. I didn't get an offer because I hadn't researched the company beforehand. Even though they say developers are encouraged to grow there, being a bit behind wasn't acceptable to them, despite my strong desire to learn.
