The interview process started with a call from HR. After that, I had an in-person meeting where I spoke with several leaders from local Sales/account and leadership teams, with each leader spending about 30 minutes talking to me individually. The final round was with the head of HR. Overall, the process was straightforward and involved good conversations with the leaders. I was extended an offer but declined it due to a better opportunity elsewhere. Sogeti seems to have good leaders and policies.

I had interviews with the 2 recruitment officers from each Business Unit, then with the manager of one of the 2 Business Units. The interviews with the 2 recruitment officers were very easy, as they were both still students doing work-study and thus lacked experience, so the questions were very standard. The interview with a BU manager, of the 'young ambitious' type, wasn't very interesting. He showed little interest in my background but did explain the level of expectation he would have of me if he hired me. Even though I was told the company was in a recruitment phase due to ongoing projects, my application was rejected, and I received no explanation despite asking.

I spoke with an internal recruiter at Sogeti. We talked for over 40 minutes about my background and she told me about Sogeti. She didn't seem to know much about the actual job and even mentioned a couple of times that there wasn't really a position yet and she didn't know the salary. Looking back, she seemed inexperienced, maybe a trainee. She said she'd follow up mid-next week, but that was about 6 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything, even after I followed up twice. I wouldn't recommend this process. Sogeti needs to train their HR better.
