Recruiter talked to me and scheduled a call. After that call, they asked that I set up a time with another recruiter to talk to them. After that, ghosting... Completely unprofessional of them. Bare minimum, you at least tell them you've moved on. Would avoid them as much as possible if you have other options.

Technical Coding

The interview process began with a friendly recruiter call where they talked up the company and outlined the next steps. After that, I had a take-home coding challenge on CodeSignal. They had practice problems in an arcade mode, and I found doing a few practice tests super helpful. The actual assessment was pretty tough with 4 problem sets that had built-in tests. I managed to solve 2, got close on a 3rd, and even tried the 4th for partial credit. I was told I only needed to get 1 right to advance, so I was stoked to pass that stage. My second interview, a technical one with TJ, was surprisingly relaxed. He asked about 20-30 JavaScript questions and a similar number of React questions, ranging from easy to more complex. A cool part was getting a breakdown of my technical assessment, showing I was seen as Jr-Mid JavaScript and Mid-Level React, with good soft skills for a consultant role.

Had an initial interview that was set up by phone and confirmed via email. The first interview was with an HR recruiter. It was a relaxed, friendly chat, not a tough interview. The interviewer talked about the company's history, why the CEO started it, and how he values employees. I got a tour of the place and heard about the work environment and how it's employee-friendly. I was told there would be a follow-up technical phone interview with development staff later. The technical phone interview hasn't been scheduled yet, but it's only been a week.

This was a phone call interview for a technical skills check. The recruiter I'm working with scheduled the time, and the interviewer called me exactly when they said they would. They started by asking for a quick summary of my past work experience and my skills, then we moved on to the questions. The questions covered typical front end topics and also touched on some general back end concepts.
