Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Software AG.
Associate Consultant
I interviewed with SAG in December 2021. It was a good experience with 3 rounds in total: 2 technical and 1 managerial. The interviewers were friendly and that helped me feel more confident.
- Questions were about the basics of webMethods components.
Associate Consultant
The interview process was pretty good and had three rounds. The first round was a technical interview over the phone, which lasted about an hour and covered questions about my experience and resume. The next round was a 1:1 interview, and the last round was an HR interview that was around 45 minutes. The HR interview felt like a stress interview where they assessed my communication, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Puzzles were also part of this round.
- No hard questions were asked, everything was related to your work experience and projects you have completed so far.
Associate Consultant
So, the interview process for the Associate Consultant role started off with an aptitude test. This test had two parts: one for logical and analytical thinking, and the other for technical knowledge. After that, there was a group discussion, mostly on current events. If you passed the GD, you moved on to technical interviews. These interviews covered technical topics like C, Java, and DBMS. The very last part of the whole thing was the HR interview.
- Some of the puzzles they asked were quite tricky.
