Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Softtek.
Front End Developer
They contacted me because they were interested in my resume. They interviewed me, told me they were interested and that I would surely pass to the next round, and then they never messaged me again.
- How do you perform under pressure?
- Which frameworks are you familiar with?
UI Developer
The processes were very slow and not dynamic at all, quite bureaucratic but that's normal. It's easy to pass if you study or prepare for the topics related to the vacancy. However, even if you pass, if there's a cheaper applicant, they'll reject you and put you on hold without any guarantees.
- About the model box, CSS, JS, closures, arrays, and their methods.
Frontend Developer
They were quick to respond, always available for any questions I had. It started with a quick phone chat with the recruiter about my salary expectations and what the company could offer me. Then, they mentioned they'd pass my CV to a technical person for review. A few days later, they scheduled an MSTeams call with a technician for a technical interview. After about a week, they contacted me to say I did very well and that an offer would be coming soon.
- Could you explain what a single page application (SPA) is?
- What is a progressive web app (PWA)?
- Can you define the DOM?
