Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sodexo.
Manager
I submitted my resume through Infojobs and the HR department contacted me. They reached out and scheduled an interview. We spoke via Teams, and then I was asked to complete the DISC assessment.
- Could you walk me through your background and career journey so far?
Manager
The hiring process was incredibly slow. The recruiter would tell candidates things that weren't true, basically setting them up for disappointment. Then, at the very last minute, just three days before my birthday, they told me they decided to go with someone already employed by Sodexo. This company is known for paying poorly and demanding a lot of work, with very long hours. They also force current employees to re-interview for their own jobs just to follow regulations, even though decisions seem to be political. They're replacing experienced leaders with younger, cheaper staff in healthcare facilities, leaving many people jobless without warning.
- Behavioral questions were asked, focusing on past experiences.
- Situational questions were asked, presenting hypothetical scenarios.
Management Trainee
So first there was a written test and then a group discussion, after that a technical interview and then a panel interview and the last one was the HR interview. It was conducted over one week, some rounds were held at the campus and others were at the corporate office in Mumbai.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Sodexo?
