This role has only technical interviews, no HR round. It starts with basic questions on scripting languages like C and C++. You should have extensive knowledge on digital design, electronic design & circuits. The entire interview takes almost a full day, testing your patience to see if you can work for more hours in a day.

So first I had to get through a written test which was in analytical reasoning, digital logic design and c-programming fundamentals. After that I was called on site for the interview. In total there were 4 rounds. The first round was on digital logic design. He was really experienced and he started by criticizing my credentials and what I wrote in the application form. I tried to defend myself but he kept criticizing everything I wrote. Then he asked about my final year project and then asked me some questions about it. He then asked me about my favorite subject from the final year subjects. I chose Digital Design through Verilog. He started with basic flipflop questions and then moved to complex digital circuits. I had to draw waveforms and he tested my boolean logic understanding. He then asked me to wait for the next round which was a written test in C, mainly on pointers. I felt good about the C test. The next round was analytical reasoning and personality, where I had to write down answers to some reasoning questions. This was easy and went fine. The next interview was after lunch with the MD. He was very chill and made me comfortable. He asked me general questions about how I found out about the company, my background and why I want to work there. He then explained the work they do and the contract terms. He mentioned that the selection is relative and I'll be informed in a few days. I asked him about growth opportunities and he explained the hierarchy. I then asked about my performance and he told me my digital logic design interview was not up to the mark. So I understood that the first guy gave me a low score. They told me digital logic design is crucial and to be confident and not question the interviewer. Also, they told me to know C-programming well because my friend was rejected for not doing well in the C-programming test. The work environment seemed casual and people were approachable, but they didn't seem very professional. All the best!!!
