Sales Engineer
Super quick and efficient recruitment, good discussions with the HR team (on teams) and then with the operational people (in person). The role and expectations were clearly presented, and there was transparency regarding salary and benefits (company car...).
- What motivates you?
- Tell me about your professional project.
- What are your salary expectations?
TCE Project Manager
After applying online to a job opening posted on Linkedin, I was contacted by the Director of the IDF Engineering Department by phone. We then agreed on an appointment for an interview. The interview went well, I was called back a few days later to announce that there would be a second interview and I accepted. No follow-up since then...
- Why are you looking to change companies?
- Can you describe the nature of projects you've worked on?
Software Engineer
This was a very unusual process, not what I expected in my 15 years of career. It felt disrespectful. The interview was scheduled for 1 hour but ended up being 1 hour and 40 minutes. Even though I asked to leave on time for my train, the recruiters kept asking questions and insisted on showing me around the facilities, completely ignoring my requests. It was a very awkward situation. After all this, I never received any feedback. No response. Some managers here seem to think remote work means loss of control and efficiency... in 2024... The company culture seems to be about overtime and being overloaded with work. Avoid this place.
- Are you willing to go above and beyond in your role?
Environmental Lawyer
First, there was a phone call to set up an interview, which could be done via video call or in person depending on where I live. The video call interview lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes total, with 1 hour and 10 minutes for discussion and 20 minutes for a 'test'. The discussion part felt natural. The only issue was the salary - my expected salary of 33k was apparently too high, and that's the reason I was given for not moving forward with my application. It's a shame we couldn't discuss it more, and the decision about what might have worked wasn't made collaboratively but based on assumptions. I was really interested in the position, and my qualifications weren't questioned.
- Could you provide a regulatory text or a current event related to the position?
