They have a streamline process. First interview was with one of their tech recruiters for a get to know each other type of meeting. Afterwards there are several technical interviews with developers from the company. All of them were very polite and respectful. The tech interviews are online and they asked me to share my screen so they could see me solving the problems they would challenge me with. There were tech interviews for Javascript, Architecture, Database (SQL) and general OOP questions.

I found the SOCi software engineer job online and applied. A few days later, they emailed me back saying they were interested and wanted me to do a coding test that would take about 30-45 minutes. The test was in a Google survey, which was weirdly set up with pictures of code instead of being easy to copy and paste into my own editor. I ended up spending 45 minutes on it, and 10 of those minutes were just me typing the code into my editor. I sent it back two days after getting it, but since then, it's been radio silence for a whole month. No rejection, no updates on what's next, and definitely no feedback. It felt like a complete waste of my time.

Behavioral Technical

I liked the interview process, the first chat with HR gave me a good sense of the role and the company culture. After that, I scheduled four more interviews, about an hour each, with tech leads and senior engineers from different teams. It was great to connect with them and hear about how things work at the company from various perspectives. Everyone was friendly, really engaged with my explanations of my experiences and skills, and seemed genuinely interested in understanding my past work, the approaches my previous teams and I took, and other relevant topics. It's always beneficial to discuss the reasoning behind decisions, so I had some good conversations. My only feedback is to shorten the waiting time between the final interview and the decision, as the anticipation can be tough.
