It was a terrible interview experience. I went through 4 rounds over 2 months and then got ghosted without any closure. The recruiter showed no empathy and had poor communication skills, requiring me to follow up after each round. I mentioned having another job offer and asked about the timeline, but received no response. Although the job post said 'urgent hire,' they kept extending it. Six weeks after the final round, I reached out to close the loop and provide feedback when I saw the job was closed on their site. A senior talent team member then apologized, explaining the recruiter was no longer with the company and the position closure wasn't communicated. Being ghosted at the final stage is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company's values.

The first interview was with a recruiter, scheduled for Monday at 12:30 PM. I was waiting for the call. Before the interview, I sent an email saying I was looking forward to speaking. When it passed 12:40 PM, I emailed to ask if we were still meeting since I hadn't received a call, and I didn't have her number. Four hours later, with no call received, the recruiter emailed saying she had called twice and left voicemails, which wasn't true as I was waiting for the call the whole time. We rescheduled for the following week, which was a hassle with incorrect dates. In that rescheduled interview, she would ask a question, I'd answer, and she'd say 'ok, thanks - next question.' This pattern continued for 45 minutes. It felt very one-sided, with no feedback or requests for elaboration. It was a terrible experience, especially since I've wanted to work at Soci for over a year. The fact that they claimed they called when they didn't, waited hours to reply, rescheduled the second attempt for the wrong time, and then just said 'ty, next question' during the interview was just awful.

The whole process was super smooth and took about 1.5 weeks. The interviewers were really accommodating with my schedule, even fitting in an interview at 8PM my time. I really wish more companies interviewed like this.
