It was fair, with an interview panel, but the hiring manager has the final decision. Questions about background, handling difficult customers, knowledge of territory. My manager once told me "the razzle dazzle approach usually fizzles" - customers want to keep it simple; since most products are largely the same, they want someone they feel they can trust and that isn't afraid of hearing no or overcoming their objections. I now believe it working in LA.

First, I got a phone call to set up a one on one with the supervisor. After that, there was a panel interview that had the supervisor, the department head/vp, and an upper manager in admin. They asked about my past work experience, skills, employment goals, philosophies, likes and dislikes.

I applied via my college website and got a call from Charles pretty quickly. He mentioned a ride-along interview that was scheduled, but then cancelled it last minute via email and said it would be rescheduled for the following week. I had to keep getting my shifts covered because I was expecting this ride-along, but Charles kept stringing me along. Terrible HR and really unprofessional. Glad I didn't get the job though.

The interview process started with an initial chat where they talked about the company and its business. Then, I had a meeting with the manager. The final step was a panel interview. It was a pretty typical interview setup, not too hard, but not easy either. I liked their approach to the interviews.
