First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at sngular.
Software Engineer
It was just one chill interview where I talked about my experience and interests. It went pretty well and the 2 interviewers were great. We talked about technical terms but there wasn't any practical part I had to do.
- What technologies have you used in your previous work experience?
Technical Lead
Had an initial chat with HR, which was great. They were very clear about the terms and I could ask all sorts of questions. I left the interview with no doubts at all. Next, there was a pretty straightforward theoretical technical interview. Then, we agreed on terms; you can't proceed with the client until you sign it. It's not binding, though. Finally, a technical interview with the client, and then an offer.
- General programming questions, covering the required technologies.
- General database questions, covering the required technologies.
- Questions regarding the specific technologies required for the role.
Software Developer
The interview process started with an initial call that was an hour later than scheduled and the HR person had a bad attitude. They said the role was strictly Backend (Java/Spring Boot), but during the technical interview, they tested me as a Full Stack developer, which shows a lack of internal communication. The recruiter forgot to send the technical interview invite after promising they would, so we rescheduled for the next day. After a technical interview where the interviewer gave positive verbal feedback, I haven't heard anything for 3 weeks. They didn't stick to their timelines and didn't even have the courtesy to send a rejection. A very unprofessional hiring process.
