They reached out to me by phone. There were three interviews. The first one was with the HR manager at the Sngular Consultancy. After that, you get a technical test, which isn't too difficult. For the second interview, you should have already completed the technical test, and it's with the Tech Lead, and the interview is almost entirely about theory. The third interview is with the Manager, where they mainly ask about your salary expectations and expectations for the role you'd be developing. Supposedly, after this, you have to complete a certification course as a requirement for the vacancy, but I didn't get any more information from them, and they didn't contact me again.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The technical interview is mostly theoretical, focusing on the Object-Oriented Programming Paradigm. There were a few quick questions about some code shown to you, and that was it.

Had an initial chat with HR, which was great. They were very clear about the terms and I could ask all sorts of questions. I left the interview with no doubts at all. Next, there was a pretty straightforward theoretical technical interview. Then, we agreed on terms; you can't proceed with the client until you sign it. It's not binding, though. Finally, a technical interview with the client, and then an offer.

The process made me feel comfortable and the people were generally very nice. They asked a bit about my experience, concerns, and personal preferences. At one point, they asked if I preferred the UX or UI part. I said it was indifferent to me. They insisted, asking again which I preferred, UX or UI. So I said, if I had to choose, I preferred the UX part. They rejected me as a candidate, stating that I 'didn't have enough UI experience.' I was shocked by this feedback. I studied Fine Arts, have a master's degree in design, and have several UI examples in my portfolio... It was just that one piece of feedback, with no further explanation or areas for improvement, so I imagine it was simply due to insistence, and penalizing me for choosing one over the other.
