First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Snappy.
Customer Success Manager
There were 4 interviews in total before they made a final decision. I interviewed with the hiring manager, other CSMs, and the CSM Team Director. Once the interview process started, there was an assignment given mid-way through the process which you end up reviewing with the hiring manager and CSM Team Director. In the end, I was offered the position but had to decline as the salary did not align with my expectations. I had raised this concern early in the process and asked the HR rep if there was any room for negotiations. Since I was moved further along the interview process I had assumed that this had been discussed and cleared by the hiring manager. Evidently this was not the case. My neutral rating is for the lack of communication and transparency. I was left feeling as if this was my fault even though I clearly stated in email my concerns and request for negotiations around salary. Other than that, the company seems like an exciting place to be in and everyone I spoke with seemed to be genuinely happy. Under different financial circumstances this would have been a no brainer.
- Can you share an example of the best customer service you've received and what made it stand out?
Client Success Manager
I've interviewed at many places, both externally and internally. Snappy was different - I felt respected, liked, and genuinely interested in. It was a smooth process, and the recruiters, Maddie and Jessie, kept me updated. I never felt like I'd be ghosted, and the timelines and next steps were clear. The interviews were fairly challenging, and you could tell the hiring managers wanted good fits. They asked how I felt about Snappy and if I was excited, which was unique and meaningful because it's a mutual choice. The whole process was low-stress, and all my questions were answered. I really appreciate how wonderful it was and have told many friends and colleagues about it. Even without an offer, I'd still have pure respect for the company and the people involved in hiring.
- Tell me about a time you managed a difficult client.
Customer Success Manager
The interview process starts with a decision maker, which is exactly how it should be. From there, you will go down through some team members, as well as another key member outside of your team. Everyone is super responsive and internal recruiters actually communicate with you.
- What skills do you think are essential for a successful customer success manager?
