Operations and Customer Analyst
I applied for a temporary Operations and Customer Analyst position in October that could potentially become permanent. The hiring process involved two interviews over two weeks. My first interview was with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, she was distracted by work during our conversation, frequently asking me to repeat myself. She mentioned a second interview where I would meet the team. Following the first interview, the hiring manager said she would send a Google Docs assignment before the second interview. To my surprise, during the second interview, she asked if I was ready to complete the assignment, which was unexpected as my laptop had just died. We eventually got the assignment open, but she then decided I should complete it later and instead introduced me to the team. The interview consisted of basic questions. The hiring manager remained distracted and inattentive throughout this second meeting. I was told I'd hear back within a week, but I did not get the job. The assignment ended up being a waste of time, as even with help from a skilled friend, we found the spreadsheet to be flawed.

Account Executive
A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn, and after a phone screen, I had an interview with the hiring manager. Snappy really lives up to its name because the hiring manager was just that – snappy. He was confrontational, claiming I worked for a partner company and that they weren't trying to poach employees. He even asked if my manager knew I was interviewing, which is wild because who tells their manager that? It was strange, and I explained that their recruiter reached out and I was open to learning more since employee experience is something I'm really interested in. They should probably tell their recruiters if they don't want them contacting partners. The process felt a bit shady, like someone else might have been on the video call. The hiring manager couldn't really provide details on onboarding and training and seemed hostile. He ended the call by saying the recruiter would follow up. Thank goodness I never heard from them again.

Compensation and Benefits Manager
The interview process was, honestly, the best that I have been a part of. The recruiter did a fantastic job in providing updates and articulating next steps in the process, should I be lucky enough to get to continue on. Any time that I would start to wonder if/when I might hear from Snappy again, I would have a proactive e-mail waiting for me in my inbox. Each person that I interviewed with was very humble and provided a comfortable presence that allowed me to really feel connected to the company, before I was even offered the position. Truly great interview process.

Sales Director
I was initially contacted on LinkedIn by Snappy's recruiting team about a couple of Sales positions. They were always punctual and enjoyable to work with. First, I had to provide written responses to some questions to check my communication skills, style, experience, and background. Then, I had two 30-minute interviews back-to-back, which were mostly formatted to ensure fairness. Although the feedback was positive, they thought I'd be a better fit for a different role at Snappy. After that, I interviewed with four more team members in separate settings before receiving an offer. Having the interviews back-to-back was beneficial for meeting other team members and learning about the company, performance, and culture. Now that I've joined Snappy, I understand and appreciate their decision that I was a better fit for the role I accepted. The whole process from initial contact to the offer took about 4 weeks.
