It was a 4-round in-person interview process. They asked testing related questions and about java development, mostly focusing on algorithms, data structures, and x-unit frameworks.

There were like 4 technical rounds (F2F) at the Snapdeal office in Gurgaon. The first round was all about Java basics and algorithms, covering stuff like String, Array, Hashtable, and Set. The second round focused on how to build automation frameworks and general Java algorithms, with some tricky variations to make you think. Round three was pure core Java, asking conceptual questions and having me write some simple recursive functions along with a couple of code puzzles. The fourth and final round had two interviewers who asked about Selenium, general testing concepts and definitions, and also a coding problem to find the angle between the hour and minute hands. Overall, it was a pretty average difficulty interview. If you're interviewing for an SDET role at Snapdeal, definitely brush up on Java and basic data structures like Linked List, Array, Stack, and Queue, but you probably don't need to worry too much about trees.

The interview process started with a written test, followed by three rounds of technical interviews. After that, there was supposed to be an HR round, but the HR department seemed unorganized and took a long time with candidates. They didn't even screen resumes beforehand, and many people were told they weren't a good fit after completing all three technical rounds. Candidates who came through consultants were told it was the consultant's fault for their wasted day. Despite asking for feedback, they argued and abused candidates afterward.
