First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Snapdeal.
QA Engineer
I went through 5 interviews in Sanpdeal Bangalore, then they asked me to go to Delhi for a manager discussion, providing flight tickets with a same-day return. In the Bangalore office, the treatment was good, with continuous hospitality. Upon reaching Delhi, I took a cab to the Snapdeal office by 12 PM. After waiting an hour, a technical interview began at 1 PM, which I was told was mandatory despite my upcoming return flight. This interview concluded at 2 PM. Following this, I had to wait another hour for food, which was promised but never provided. At 3 PM, a second technical interview started and lasted until 4 PM. After this, I expressed my concern about the manager interview and my 6 PM flight, having not eaten all day. The interviewer advised me to take a cab quickly to avoid missing my flight, mentioning the manager round could be done over the phone. I questioned why I was called to Delhi if that was the case, especially after already completing five technical rounds in Bangalore. This experience was unacceptable due to the lack of professionalism and poor management, leading me to decline a follow-up call for the manager interview and an offer. I have another offer from a company that respects candidates.

QA Lead
Got an email from Snapdeal HR (Abhinav Jain) about my interest in Snapdeal. I replied with my resume and got a call within 15 minutes for an initial discussion. The call lasted about 40 minutes, where he extensively described the position and company culture. We talked about the role and the company's vision, and then he scheduled me for an in-person discussion at their Bangalore office. Despite a large crowd at the venue, my interview started on time and finished within 2 hours. The overall process and HR were fantastic and helpful, which is rare in my 7 years of experience. Abhinav was very supportive and gave me immediate feedback without any delay or HR jargon. He also clarified my areas for improvement based on the results. Snapdeal is fortunate to have an HR person like Abhinav Jain on their team.

QA Engineer
It was a QA drive in Kolkata. I went through up to the HR round and felt I'd nailed it. Then, two days ago, I got a call for another telephonic round about why I wanted to move to Delhi. They then asked for my recent salary slip and other documents. After following up for 4-5 days, I found out they had some fitment issues with my application. Even after more follow-up emails, I haven't heard back from HR at all. This really shows how good their recruitment process is.
