Technical Coding

The interview started with an online MCQ and a coding question to combine overlapping array intervals, which had a 30-minute time limit. Passing that led to a technical interview. This round was a bit strange because the only coding question was about creating polyfills for old browsers, which felt outdated given the prevalence of Typescript and ES6. They also asked basic CSS and HTML questions, and nothing about modern app development like React, React Native, or Node.js. I realized halfway through that this wasn't a place where I could improve my skills in modern app development, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to do that.

Technical Behavioral

The interview began at 11 and went on until 4 PM. Approximately 30 candidates were present. There wasn't a clearly defined process. It was supposed to be 4 rounds, but it felt like a formality as candidates proceeded to the next stage regardless of performance in previous ones. What was really surprising and frustrating was reaching the HR round after three technical rounds, only to be told I lacked sufficient experience. This realization came after a five-hour wait! If they had found better candidates, they could have simply said so, but providing such a weak reason was quite off-putting.
