First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Snapdeal.
Business Analyst
I passed the initial SQL test. The next round was supposed to happen twice, but the interviewer never showed up. I waited around for an hour each time. I tried reaching out to the HR person, but I haven't heard back.
- What are basic SQL joins and grouping?
Business Analyst
It was a campus interview. First, there was an online test with 50 questions that had to be finished in 30 minutes. Then came a puzzle round, which lasted about 45 minutes. It started with some basic academic questions and then moved to sequential questions with increasing difficulty. The final round was with HR. It was a basic formal interview lasting 15 minutes, with questions like Tell me about yourself, Why Snapdeal, etc.
- What's the minimum number of attempts needed to find the breaking floor for an egg, given two eggs?
Business Analyst Intern
The interview process was pretty straightforward, involving some easy SQL questions and a general aptitude test. This was followed by a session with a current Business Analyst at Snapdeal where we discussed situation-based problems. All in all, it wasn't a tough process and concluded within a single day.
