First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Snap! Raise.
Account Executive
It was a very laid-back chat, super conversational and not at all like a typical interview. The person interviewing me was really open and sounded genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. They were totally prepared, had all the info ready, and could answer anything I threw at them. I'm actually looking forward to the next steps because of how great this conversation was.
- Can you walk me through your past roles and responsibilities?
Social Media Manager
The initial interaction was great, with a warm welcome and a tour of the sales floor while waiting for my interviewer. They then gave me a more in-depth tour of the entire Seattle headquarters. The first interview was super casual, held on a couch with a nice view, lasting about 15-20 minutes. I got to ask all the questions I had about the role. I was then invited back for a follow-up interview the very next day. The second day, I met with three marketing team members, two future colleagues and the Director of Marketing. After that, I was told I'd hear back within 8 days, and I actually got a call the very next day. The whole process was so enjoyable, I would have valued the experience even without an offer. There's a palpable excitement at Snap right now, and it was felt throughout the interviews.
- The interview was tailored to my resume.
- Can you elaborate on how your background matches this position?
Customer Success Manager
Had a 25 min initial phone screening. It began with some light get-to-know-you chat, then we went over my past work experience, followed by some general questions about my work attitude. To wrap it up, I got to ask questions about the job and the company. It felt like a pretty typical interview, and I got a vibe for how enthusiastic the employees are about the company. I felt okay about how I presented myself, and they said I'd get an email within 24 hours about the next steps, but I never did.

- What motivates you to pursue a career in sales?
Sales Representative
I had a video interview that felt really casual and I thought I did great. Despite my 15 years of fundraising sales experience, where I've won awards and earned bonus/incentive trips, I got a rejection email. Friends in the industry say it might be due to my age and gender, suggesting they prefer younger males who look like they could still be in school. I suspect age and gender discrimination and would be interested to know the demographics of their sales reps. If I'm mistaken, I apologize.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience in fundraising sales?
