The interview process was quite formal, with a series of questions focusing on my past work experience, educational background, and hypothetical scenario situations. It turned out the job description and territory were different than what was discussed in the initial phone interview, and the salary was also lower than initially indicated. They seemed more interested in a classic "used car salesman" approach to selling rather than building professional relationships. I was quite disappointed with the managers I spoke with. The salary offered was very low, yet they expected over 50 hours of work per week, with daily travel, and no car allowance or company car provided. If these details had been communicated during the phone call, I wouldn't have dedicated a morning to the interview.

The process wasn't long. I had a referral and sent my resume to the manager. I followed up, and he reviewed it. Then, he said an HR person would call for a phone interview. After that, I met with the Manager, then the GM, and my last interviews were with the VP of Sales.

It was a pretty chill interview, no stress. The manager was super nice and happy to answer anything I asked. The company has a great brand and territory. It felt like a standard interview, but the people were great. I used to be a mechanic for ages and thought this would be a good way to shift into a different kind of job.
