Java Developer
Applied online and got a call from HR. Interviewed in August '16. The first round was a 45-minute technical interview with basic core-java questions. The second round was a 1-hour technical interview with a US panel via Skype, focusing on Oracle queries and complex real-time scenarios from my project. They weren't satisfied, so they scheduled a third round with the US panel via Skype. The third round was an hour long, with the same questions but a different interviewer, and general discussion about my project, including lines of code and bugs detected. The fourth round was techno-managerial, with scenario-based Java questions like designing an application to select a specific database at runtime. Finally, there was an HR discussion where I was asked about parameters for judging a company, and they wanted a genuine reason for my CTC request. They are a product company, but they were reluctant on CTC despite finding me fit after four technical rounds. Overall, they pay poorly.
- Questions about OOPS, Collections, Multithreading, Exceptions
- Questions about Spring IOC and Spring MVC
- Questions about Oracle
Lead Consultant
Got the call for the interview through an employee referral. Total three rounds - Tech, Managerial, and HR. The first technical round was on the phone, and the questions were easy to medium for a Lead Consultant. They asked about SQL, Performance tuning, n-tier architecture, debugging slow queries, listeners/servers basics, and ETL tools. Also asked about the technical architecture of my current project. The second round was a video conf on Skype, a managerial round with a Senior Manager and Director. They asked about my project, scenario-based data modeling, and data architecture. Also asked some basic managerial questions about team handling and willingness to learn new tech like ODI. The third round was HR, which took over an hour, also on the phone. HR was curious about my comfort in moving from a big to a small company, my past experiences, any extra value I added, and team handling. Salary negotiation wasn't on the call, but over emails.
- The interviewer in the first round asked about the role of the listener in debugging an application webpage that renders search results, specifically when it suddenly stopped working.
- He asked if I could check whether the listener is still active as a first step in debugging.
Software Developer
They usually have 4 rounds, but I ended up having 5. The first round was a 1-hour technical interview. The second round was a 1.5-hour technical interview with clients, where they asked a lot about Java, DS Algo, Mysql, Nosql, Rest API, and AWS. The third round was a managerial interview with an international panel, which started at 8:30 IST and lasted a while. They collected my documents after this round. The fourth round was another managerial interview with a manager from Noida, focusing on DS, Java, and SQL. The fifth and final round was an HR interview, which was 1 hour long. Make sure you're well-prepared for this. I cleared all 5 rounds, but I still haven't received an offer letter, so it felt like a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here.
- Can you build a Rest API with spring boot?
Java Developer
So, the interview process had 3 rounds: aptitude, technical, and HR. The aptitude round had logical, syllogism, and conclusion-based questions, with 30 minutes for 25 questions. It was pretty easy. The technical round had questions mainly on OOPs and one programming question, bubble sort. I did the aptitude on day 1, and they said they'd let me know the next day about the technical round, which would be on a different day.
- Can you explain the implementation of abstraction?
- Can you explain the implementation of encapsulation?
- Can you explain the implementation of bubble sort?
