Technical Coding

I had a really bad time interviewing here. The recruiter first ignored me for a while, even after I told her about another offer deadline. Then, they contacted me again, and I interviewed even while on vacation. They had me do a 2-hour pair programming session that seemed poorly planned and they just came up with it. I'm not sure what they gain from watching someone read documentation and try to use a framework they don't know. They were super slow to respond, ignoring my emails asking for updates because my offer was expiring. In the end, they rejected me without any feedback, just ignoring my request for it. Based on how they treated me, I don't think I'd want to work there. My overall impression is that the company is disorganized and rude.

Behavioral Coding

The initial vibe wasn't great, the interviewer seemed really bored. We kicked things off with some behavioral questions. Then came the coding part, where they wanted me to share my whole screen – which I found pretty intrusive. When I mentioned using Python for the coding, they seemed surprised and stressed that the role really needed React and JS skills. The coding problem itself seemed designed to be unsolvable within the time limit.

Technical Behavioral

There were 2 tech rounds that focused on the software tools and technologies I know. Then there was the usual HR round with typical questions. I practiced using online mock interviews to get used to the environment and avoid nervousness.
