The interview was set up and confirmed in a clear and efficient way. The person I spoke with was professional and knew a lot. I had to explain why I'd be a good fit and talk about how my past experience would help me do well in the job.

I had two phone calls during the interview process. The first one went really well. He told me a lot of great things about the company and its growth. He answered all my questions about training and how things work. He said I'd have a dedicated contact for leads and could customize the info I got on prospects. He mentioned compensation, making it sound super reliable, like if I closed a deal on Monday, I'd get paid by Friday, besides residuals for ongoing services. He gave me time to talk to my wife and call him back the next day. Then, he said they'd consider other applicants if I was interested, which kind of killed the mood. I checked Glassdoor that night and found info that really contradicted what he said – slow pay, bad leads, and other reps getting multiple contacts that weren't useful. I also found out about a lawsuit against the company. I asked him about this the next day, and his whole demeanor changed. He didn't address the website comments directly, just said I should have done my research. When I brought up the Attorney General's investigation, he brushed it off, saying a company that big must have lawsuits, and when I pressed him about unethical practices, he just ended the call.

First step was a very in depth phone interview. Second step was a Zoom interview, very laid back, made me feel comfortable. The phone interview was thorough and instead of typical questions, they focused on you as a person and chemistry.
