So, applying at Smokey Bones was pretty straightforward and chill, which made me even more keen to join. I sent in my application online and got a callback in a few days to set up an in-person chat. The manager was super welcoming when I got there, and it felt more like just talking than a formal interview. We talked about my past work, how I deal with stress, and what kind of workplace suits me best. I liked that they focused on personality and fitting in just as much as job skills. There were a few hypothetical questions too, like dealing with a grumpy customer or managing a lot of tables at the same time, but it wasn't scary. The atmosphere felt relaxed but serious, and they stressed how important teamwork and good communication are. After that first meeting, they followed up quickly to meet another person on the team for the last talk. That second chat was more about the practical stuff—my availability, training times, and what happens when I start. By the end of that week, they called to offer me the job. I'm really excited about the vibe there—it's busy but fun, and the team seems really supportive. Plus, the food smells incredible. 🔥

I applied and got a call for an interview pretty quickly, like a day or two after applying, for the very next day. I went in dressed up with extra resumes. The interview was short and casual. They asked about my experience and why I thought I'd be a good fit for Smokey Bones. Then, they asked me to come back later that night to shadow a server and see if I'd fit in. I did, and I shadowed her, studied the menus, and made small talk. At the end of that, I talked to the manager again, and he told me to call him Monday afternoon. I got a job offer that Sunday before Monday.
- What makes you want to work at this establishment?
- What is your approach to handling an upset customer?

The interview process started off slow. Management took their sweet time to see me, and the place was dead.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
