I went through 3 rounds of interviews. First, HR called and asked some questions about me, then they talked about the job, location, and basic expectations. The second round was supposed to be in person, but they let me do it remotely via Zoom with one senior engineer and two less senior engineers. This was a behavioral interview. The third round was another call with one senior engineer.

I reached out to them via email with my resume about any openings even though nothing was posted online. A few months later, they contacted me for an interview with the Director of ME. The interview itself was brief and mainly behavioral. The rest of the time was spent touring the office and meeting other team members. To wrap things up, there was a short (10 minute) meeting with HR.

I was late to my interview because of traffic, but I let the interviewer and recruiter know. They asked me basic questions about HVAC, my personality, and my salary expectations. The interviewer didn't seem into it from the start, and even less so when I told them my desired salary range. I asked the recruiter for feedback and they were rude. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because it sounds like they have a bad work culture and don't understand people.
