The interview process started with a recruiter call that went great. Before any zoom calls with the team, there was a personality assessment which had a lot of questions about sacrificing personal life for work. After the assessment, the interview with the manager focused heavily on sales experience, which wasn't on my resume. It was a boring conversation, and I could tell it wasn't going to work out based on her attitude. The director's interview was fine, but I already knew it was over after the manager's interview.

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process was very organized and professional. The recruiter stayed in touch with me during the whole process. I had mostly nice interviewers. There was one phone interview and then two video interviews since I was interviewing remotely. For the video interviews, there were about 3 people. I got an offer, but I turned it down because I didn't like talking to the hiring manager. I thought she was rude. She asked me how my other interviews went, and when I told her, she said condescendingly, "That's it? Can you tell me a bit more?" I really couldn't imagine working for someone who was already being rude and condescending to me during the interview. After the final interviews, I had to do online personality and writing tests. Everyone else was really nice, though. The offer was good, but it didn't seem like a great place to work because of my experience with the hiring manager and the many bad reviews from current employees on Glassdoor.

So I had a phone screen, then a Skype with the hiring manager, and then an on-site. The on-site was two 30-minute chats with different team members. It was a long process, like 8 weeks, and they made it seem like I was a top choice. I was talking to the team a lot during that time. But in the end, I never got a call to tell me I didn't get the job. It felt really off, especially since it took so long and I put in so much time.
