The HR interview was really quick and not very thorough. The interviewer seemed like a robot, didn't look at my resume or cover letter, and didn't give any details about the job. They just started with 'tell me about yourself'. I was called back for another interview a few weeks later and wasn't impressed with the hiring manager, so I didn't take the offer. SB has a rep for burning people out, and that's not what I want. Other similar companies don't have that rep, and there are lots of good companies in Chicago, so this job wasn't appealing once I learned more about the company.

I got contacted by a recruiter from a resume site, which was pretty cool. They must be actively looking for people. After I talked to the recruiter, I had to fill out an online application and send my resume again. Then, they wanted me to come in person. I met with the recruiter for like 15-20 minutes, and then I talked to my potential boss for an hour. A few days later, the recruiter called me to come back for another round. This time, I had three 30-minute meetings with people I'd be working with. The next week, they gave me an offer. This whole thing was pretty fast compared to other interviews I've done.
