The interview process was pretty thorough but moved fast, with 5 total rounds. It included 5 assessments, a recorded video interview, and a live interview. Round 1 was just submitting your application. Round 2 had 3 assessments: a personality one, a situational one, and a typing test where you needed at least 34 words per minute. Round 3 had 2 more assessments: an aptitude test and a computer/internet skills test. Round 4 was a pre-recorded video interview where I answered about 6 questions using the STAR method. The final round was a live Zoom interview that felt pretty relaxed. They asked one question about handling multitasking and also inquired about my home office setup, looking for a quiet, distraction-free space. Towards the end, I shared my screen to do some speed tests and checked my computer's RAM, which needs to be at least 8GB. All the computer and internet speed requirements were in the job description.

Behavioral Presentation

The whole hiring process has been fantastic! There were three assessments. As you pass each one, you get an email very quickly asking you to complete the next one. Once you pass the third one, you get an email, again very quickly, to schedule a recorded interview. That recorded interview was good because they ask how you'd handle a situation vs doing the STAR method. If you pass that, you again get a quick email to schedule a zoom interview. From start to finish, it was 3 days for me and that's because I put off the video interview for a day since I did all three assessments in one day. My offer was given at the zoom interview and the written offer was later that day.

When you first apply, there's a Math and Skills assessment. If you pass that, you do a video recording and answer some questions about your past work experience. The next step is mock calls, which were really tough and felt unnecessary. They give you documents beforehand to study their system. The system itself isn't that hard, but they expect you to know it almost perfectly during the interview, which is crazy. It felt like a waste of time, but they did pay for the interview. I did the first round of mock calls and was told I wouldn't be moving on.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They test your internet speed, but there weren't really any questions, as the interview is more about mock calls to pass or fail.

Technical Presentation Other

I took a SAT-style test with math and reading sections, followed by a typing test where I exceeded the minimum requirements. The next step involved mock calls. I made it to the final round but wasn't selected. I think it was because I was perceived as lacking warmth during the mock calls and I didn't perfectly handle their poorly designed system. It seems they expect flawless performance with unfamiliar software, which is tough for a first-time user. They kept mentioning the 'lack of warmth' during mock calls. Honestly, if they want a friendly tone for $15/hr, they should expect less. For training on their complicated software, they should anticipate mistakes from new hires instead of assuming incompetence. It’s not that difficult to understand, and their failure to do so will lead to high turnover.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Did a series of mock calls instead of answering questions.
