I was referred for both interviews. After applying, I got an email invitation for a phone interview the next day. Interview 1: The recruiter was 15 minutes late for our call and seemed distracted, even asking to print my resume while I waited. He asked questions from my resume and about Smartsheet and stocks. When I asked questions, he mostly gave yes/no answers or read from the job posting. The interview felt short, and I didn't get to share much. He seemed uninterested and the interview lasted only 9 minutes. I got rejected the next morning. Scenario 2: The recruiter called 3 minutes late but was very personable and asked specific, engaging questions that made me feel she was interested. She did most of the talking, but I felt I covered my key points. We discussed salary, and she asked if I could accept less than my ideal. She then explained the next steps. I sent a thank-you email within hours. After two weeks with no response, I followed up again. It's now been six weeks with no contact, so I think I've been ghosted. My feedback: The first phone screen should focus on candidate fit, experience, and skills, not company perks. Recruiters could be more transparent and avoid hyping candidates up with phrases like 'you're perfect for...' while remaining neutral. Recruiters should also respect candidates' time by providing timely rejections or offers, even a generic email is better than silence.

The interview process was really smooth and straightforward. The recruiter was super responsive, and things moved quicker than I expected. They seemed genuinely interested in me as a person beyond just my resume, which was great. I had a phone screen with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the sales manager. After that, I went through an in-person loop where I met with three sales managers and a current SDR. The final step was another phone interview with the sales director. They really want you to know the company and the product and how it can help customers.

Applied online. Had two interviews. First was a phone interview with the recruiter about the company and its model, with behavioral/scenario questions. Second was a zoom video call with the line manager discussing my skills and how I qualify prospects. Communication was good throughout.
