The interview process started with a 15-minute phone screen, followed by a 30-minute interview with situational questions. Then there was the HubSpot practicum, which was pretty straightforward with no hidden tricks, just complete the tasks as written. I finished it perfectly in twelve minutes and got praised for being precise and efficient. The interviewer mentioned the next step was an interview with the VP for culture fit, and HR would email to schedule within 2 days. Sadly, HR never followed up, and I was ghosted for 16 days until I got a form letter saying they chose other candidates with stronger experience. This was super unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since I have 5 years of HubSpot experience and 20+ certifications.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied and then 30 days later a recruiter emailed about a call with the Senior Director of Marketing Strategy. We discussed my background, and she asked about my HubSpot experience and conflict resolution. After 15 days, the recruiter contacted me again to set up a call with a Director of Marketing Strategy and to do the HubSpot practicum. During this interview, I created an email, two landing pages, and a social post while she asked questions about them. Three days post-interview, HR reached out with a verbal offer.

The interview was short. They really wanted someone who was an expert in Hubspot. I told them I wasn't an expert and the interview ended quickly. I wouldn't recommend applying if you aren't a Hubspot and email marketing campaigns expert. It seems like a great company, but they're looking for advanced skills with a specific platform.
