Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Smart Fit.
Intern
The interview process was very nice, the people were receptive and polite. I wasn't waiting long to be called for the interview and it was done in just 2 stages. It was very dynamic and made candidates feel comfortable. If all interviews were like this, it would be much easier.
- What motivates you to work for this company?
Intern
It was a typical M&A interview. They started by asking about my background, like where I've worked and what I've done. Then, they moved on to technical questions. I recall they asked about calculating FCFF from revenue in English, the WACC formula, and some questions about multiples. They also asked me to discuss a valuation case I had previously completed. I wasn't too impressed with how I was treated; the interviewers seemed a bit unenthusiastic and rude.
- Could you explain the path from revenue to FCFF in English?
- What's the formula for WACC?
- Can you mention a valuation case you've worked on?
Intern
The process was super chill. Started with an HR interview, then a case study to solve, and finally an interview with the hiring manager. The questions were really easy, like asking about my strengths and weaknesses, and which subject I find most difficult. Also, they asked how I see myself in 5 years.
- How do you see yourself in 5 years?
- Which subject do you find most difficult?
- How do you behave in group work?
