First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Smart Communications.
Business Analyst
I went through quite a few interviews. I spoke with Senior Members of the team, the VP of the department, and the department head. Most of the questions were about my family relationships. I think this is due to Smart's culture, as they want to make sure you'll fit into the system and can adjust easily.
- Why Smart? Why not another telecom company?
- Tell us about yourself and your family relationships.
Business Analyst
I applied online and heard back via text message about two weeks later to set up an initial interview. It was a pretty standard HR interview, and I think they were mostly checking if I had any failing grades. They asked me questions to get to know me beyond my resume.
- Can you share something about yourself that isn't on your resume?
- What led you to pursue an engineering degree?
- Describe your approach to managing stress and pressure.
Business Analyst
The interview process included a phone interview, then talks with HR, the Supervisor, the Manager, and the Department Head. After that, there was an assessment. Everyone was kind, and the work environment seems great because the employees are happy.
- What are your reasons for wanting to join Smart?
