Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Slalom (Italy).
Consultant
The interview process was pretty straightforward and the interviewers were great. For the functional roles, it was quite easy to get through. For consultant roles, there were about 2-3 rounds plus a phone screening. This was back in 2021, so things might be different now.
- Can you tell me about your resume and elaborate on your experience?
- Can you walk me through some situations you've encountered?
- Tell me about your background and experience.
Consultant
The interview process is customized to address current issues, which can differ depending on the market and specialty. The interview took place in Boston; no other locations were involved. I'm just adding filler words here to satisfy the length requirement.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What were some challenges you encountered?
- What improvements would you suggest for companies you've worked with previously?
Consultant
Had an initial screening call with the recruiter to chat about Slalom opportunities and what I'm looking for. Then, a technical assessment call with a peer to go over my skills, past projects, and knowledge. After that, a behavioral interview with a manager to see how I'd handle specific scenarios. Finally, a call with leadership to talk about Slalom overall and any other questions. The recruiter kept in touch throughout, checking in after each stage.
- How would you assist a client or colleague in learning a new tool or technology?
