I first did an online application with my CV, cover letter, and a short, memorable blurb. They emailed me back to set up an on-site interview. Three people from different roles interviewed me, and they were all really prepared. It was super organized; each interviewer focused on different topics so I didn't have to repeat myself. Everyone was really nice and open. I would have taken their offer if I hadn't gotten a better one elsewhere.

I saw an ad and a recruiter emailed me back. We messaged a bit, and then he gave me a writing test. I finished it and thought it was good, but a few days later the recruiter said they reviewed it and weren't going forward with me. I guess I didn't do as well as I thought. Since the recruiter and I had a decent email chat, I messaged him back to thank him and ask what I missed on the test. I never heard back. It's annoying because as a writer, I'd like to know what I got wrong. I won't apply to Skyword again.
