Behavioral Group Presentation

First, I had a phone interview. After that, they had me come in for a group interview. They narrowed down the group and then had final interviews. I had to speak to about 50 people and introduce myself. Then, they made cuts and invited back who they wanted. They asked more questions, and then we filled out paperwork for a background check. I got a call with an offer the same day.

Behavioral Group

First, there was a company presentation, then we were divided into groups. In our groups, everyone was asked the same question about their career path. I passed this stage and proceeded to a one-on-one interview with a recruiter. The recruiter told me I did great and they wanted me to join SkyWest, but that they would first have to 'recommend me for hiring.' They mentioned that two other ladies in the room conducting interviews had the final say. I was initially told this was the final interview and a decision would be made based on it, but it was frustrating to be interviewed by someone without hiring authority. I never received a call despite acing the interview and having previous airline experience. I suspect the other two managers simply chose candidates from the group interviews, and I didn't get a chance to impress them. It felt unfair.

Behavioral Technical Group

The first step was a group interview where we were called up one by one in front of everyone and asked questions, and other candidates also participated. They asked about our past experiences, if we were reliable, and about transferable skills. The second step was onsite training in Denver, which included a drug test, tests for physical ability, basic knowledge tests, and a background check for security clearance.
