I was contacted by a recruiter via email/LinkedIn. I had to fill out a form on a platform (Google Forms). After that, I was sent a letter, and I had to accept or decline the job offer. If accepted, I had to review and sign the contract.

Behavioral Other

It was a complete and disrespectful mess. They wanted bilingual teachers to give English and Spanish classes. I submitted everything, and this was a 2 - 3 day hassle. In the end, they offered me only 3 dollars an hour, and if I were “lucky,” I’d get $5. This is disrespectful for anybody. It’s not even minimum wage. Needless to say, I rejected their offer.

I was formally hired by Skyeng in early 2023: I passed all interviews, submitted all documents, completed my schedule, and was told on a video call that I had been accepted. The very next day they emailed asking me to “wait” due to lack of students — and then completely vanished. No follow-up, no explanation, no response to my inquiries. Months later other recruiters contacted me as if nothing had happened. This is not a simple communication failure — it’s a blatant lack of internal processes and respect for candidates. They wasted my time and left me in limbo. I cannot recommend applying here unless you accept the risk of being accepted and then forgotten. They don't communicate with their own employees, they have a false hiring process which is actually a real scam.
